Human intelligence and its measurement
Many a person has tried to take an IQ test on a computer screen and probably abandoned the action. But intelligence research has its tradition and is as up-to-date as ever. Because artificial intelligence is a topic of the future. But some people still get stomach rumblings in their stomachs at the thought.
The late Wilhelm Ludwig Stern was the pioneer of intelligence research. Today, the demands on measurable intelligence are significantly increased. The stress for the pupils is guaranteed not to become less. Yet it has been proven that children would learn more effectively free from pressure to perform.
The basis of intelligence
Intellectual potential cannot be determined solely by the various school support measures. IQ is not directly related to the school education enjoyed. Thus, science always tries to make a reliable statement on the basis of existing and measurable human competencies.
The scale of personal intelligence depends on various factors. Psychology does not agree. It has been established that genetic differences come to light when people are given the opportunity in their lives to demonstrate their mental abilities. Thus, it is believed that a person's intelligence comes from a large number of genetic variations. These come into play when the environment is mentally challenging.
