    Anonymous Denunciation

The relatively extensive meaning of the term denunciation is limited in the following article to anonymous denunciation on the internet.

The brave new world of the internet was initially greeted enthusiastically. But, as in the Bible, the snake soon appeared and later Cain and the other evil fellows.

The possibility of anonymously pointing out political grievances or uncovering irregularities in companies (whistleblowers) created an almost dreamlike platform for ‘do-gooders’. But as soon as criminal activities were revealed, the backlash from the ‘bad guys’ followed. Perhaps the bad guys were also using the anonymity of the internet before the good guys, but that doesn't really matter anymore. The fact is that the internet has become a playground for anonymous informers, stalkers, tricksters and sociopaths.

Anonymous publications from the internet as evidence for authorities

Anyone can anonymously publish anything on the internet. It is already common knowledge that foreign forums and servers in particular evade German jurisdiction. Even in social networks, a relatively large amount can be written against others without the person concerned being able to defend themselves.

Denunciation can be seen as a national sport. It is well known that certain authorities are overwhelmed with anonymous denunciations.

The authorities are completely overwhelmed by the anonymous denunciations on the internet. Officials are therefore extremely reluctant to respond to people who present any anonymous publications from the internet against a neighbour, acquaintance or adversary and believe that they are creating evidence.

Indirectly, of course, they do create evidence, albeit counter-productively: anyone who spreads anonymous insults or defamations can even be punished for it if it constitutes the offence of insult , defamation or slander . If the persons concerned are already deceased, - defamation of the dead applies. Since about 5% of users have died since the introduction of the internet, and since there is also agitation against these persons, violations will increase significantly.

Anyone who passes on a scathing pamphlet or defamatory texts about another person, either orally or in writing, can very quickly be held criminally liable. If they present it to the authorities, this can also be problematic, because many officials now react ‘allergically’ to this ‘evidence’ that may have been produced by the applicant themselves.

After all, anonymous means anyone could have done it.

Police officers and courts do not like private intrigues and counter-intrigues. It is no secret that informers and schemers are sorted into special drawers at the authorities. Once you are labelled as a ‘public nuisance’, it is very difficult to get out of that label. Sometimes public nuisances are referred to the possibility of a ‘private lawsuit’ and get involved in expensive civil proceedings, which result in nothing but hefty court, expert and attorney fees.

An anonymous text from the Internet is also not suitable for harming a litigation opponent in court. The person attacked can very quickly turn the tables and construct a defamation or insult out of it. It will then be very difficult to talk your way out of court and shift the blame to the anonymous writer as the author and the true person responsible. By their very nature, courts only ‘hang’ those they actually catch.

Private consequences of anonymous denunciation on the internet

In the forum against bullying, people complain daily about anonymous attacks, denunciation and defamatory texts on the internet. The number of intrigues and bullying cases, especially in ‘social networks’ such as Facebook, is developing more and more into a social avalanche that drags innocent people to their doom. What causes people to publicly let their pants down and post compromising photos and films on the net? Anyone who presents themselves publicly can also be publicly attacked.

Why many young people still collect the ‘internet brand’ or even expose themselves to a ‘shit stream’ by disclosing all kinds of personal data is difficult for an intelligent person to understand and can at best be excused as ignorance.

It is obsolete to raise a warning finger, because the rule is: it's your own fault for going on the internet!

If you are the victim yourself...

If we see our good name defiled by an anonymous scribbler on the internet, then we should ask ourselves what kind of medium this internet actually is. What options are there to defend ourselves against it? A lot has already been written on this website: cyberbullying, cyberbullying currently, anti-bullying, shame pages, dirty bullying.

If the publication was made in another country or is hosted on a foreign server, the legal options are practically non-existent. If anyone has different information on this, corresponding information by email ( Admin@Mobbing.net) or in the forum against bullying is welcome.

Until then, we note: There is not much that can be done directly against these anonymous denunciations and defamations on the internet.

The website Mobbing.net has been around for 15 years (balance sheet Mobbing.net ) and we have seen several blatant cases of cyberbullying and anonymous denunciations on the internet. Some cases were tragic, with severe nervous disorders, legal and financial problems, arguments with friends and acquaintances, and even divorces in long-term marriages.

So once again it is the weak and sensitive who are affected. Anonymous denunciations and cyberbullying are already making as many people ill as bullying in the workplace!

Perhaps in a few years, when you log on to the internet, similar messages will appear as we already find on cigarette packs:

The internet is damaging your health!

    _______

The bullies and informers get their money's worth – or so it seems!

On closer analysis, it turns out that the attacks really hit home mainly with people who were already fragile, sensitive, hyper-nervous or otherwise damaged.

Those who were naturally robust and psychologically stable were able to shrug off the ‘shit’ from the internet and often even successfully counterattack.

The effects of anonymous negative reporting and defamation on the internet on sensitive people have also been reported in detail elsewhere. Based on our research, however, we conclude that this is only half the truth.

Almost everyone is initially outraged by the lies or half-truths that are spread about them on the internet. But while the sensitive person bows their head and reacts with depression or fear, the fighter becomes angry and aggressive. They will even think of strategies to fight back against these insults.

There are other groups, such as those who react indifferently, callously or even bluntly. For these people, cyberbullying will have relatively little effect.

All in all, there are quite a few people who cannot be permanently bullied, stressed and stalked.

When an athlete got fed up with being constantly stalked, she publicly named her stalker. In our view, this is a typical and completely appropriate reaction for a fighter. There are even more examples of moral courage, courageous action, ineffective denunciations and unmasked internet stalkers.

    and the team against bullying

‘It was in the newspaper’ is not the same as ‘it was on the internet’.

Would such a report be in the newspaper?

Dog is attacked by a mower in love.

Hardly, unless it is under: satire, complete nonsense or other superfluous writing.

On the internet, however, the story is presented as if it had actually happened.

    Dog is attacked by...

The original text can be found in the admin's post on Mobbing.net, which explains to readers why such a crude story was published in the bullying forum:

    Admin

Dog is attacked by a mower in love.

This is, of course, complete nonsense, but let's just follow this up and see where we find this story in a few months.

    Why this opening story?

There have been a few posts in the last few days that have been the subject of heated discussion among the users of the forum.

The anti-bullying team does not want to patronise its users. That is why we also allow borderline and even completely absurd statements.

However, since we have a certain responsibility to those seeking advice on bullying, we make sure that the posts are filed in the right category and that a certain amount of pre-sorting is done with regard to quality.

Not so the internet. There, everything is accepted and the craziest madnesses are published. Only time will tell whether this is a good thing.

In any case, every hypochondriac can find the most unusual clinical pictures and drive their doctor crazy with ever new symptoms.

Those who love conspiracy theories will find everything, but really everything.

We see life through the rose-tinted glasses of lovers, and then, thanks to this article, we also find a love-struck lawnmower that has shaved a shocker spaniel.
