Protective measures against the coronavirus, for private individuals,
First of all I have to criticize the so-called experts. I can no longer listen to the constant advice to wash your hands and cut into the crook of your arm! Cutting into the crook of your arm, simply disgusting !
But, I do not want to go against the recommendations. If you are really surprised by a sudden sneezing fit, you should not sneeze in the direction of other people. By the way, you should have a lot of new handkerchiefs with you. And don't dispose of the handkerchiefs in the nearest public wastebasket, but put them "safely" underneath. In the organic waste bin ? As you can see, we are not yet prepared for all eventualities.
I have drawn up an emergency plan for my company, which is also valid for private individuals to a certain extent:
To the emergency plan agains the virus
For all employees there are sufficient protective masks (the good quality!) ( That was a few days ago, when there were still masks )
Also safety goggles to avoid infections via the eyes
in addition so-called shields that cover the whole face (who has a chain saw, has in general also such a shield)
there are small plastic containers with appropriate agents for hand disinfection, which can also be taken into the car
the public would be completely shut down. ( Private: avoid crowds!)
receipt of goods or delivery under appropriate precautions
the cleaning of the operating rooms, washrooms, toilets etc. is improved For example, additional antiviral agents are also used
Flat tubs with disinfectants can be placed at the entrances. (shoe disinfection)
The stocks of the canteen were increased accordingly (Private: read recommendations of the civil defence or buy accordingly)
Employees who are susceptible to the virus can stay at home if necessary. These are mainly older or pre-damaged persons.
If necessary, all but a few employees can stay at home.
At the moment I am still trying to get thermoscanners.
By the way, the prices for protective masks have quintupled in the last days or are totally sold out.
