The epidemic situation linked to Covid-19 is worsening in Morbihan and the departmental incidence rate is now above 150/100,000 inhabitants. In order to reinforce the fight against the spread of the virus, the prefect of Morbihan took several measures on 26 March by prefectoral decree.
Thus, the wearing of a mask is compulsory for everyone aged 11 and over in all the communes of the department in built-up areas (between the entrance and exit signs of the communes) between 6am and 8pm since midnight on 26 March.
As a reminder, wearing a mask is also compulsory :
- on open-air markets, for the duration of the event;
- in the vicinity, within a 100-metre radius, of all educational and training establishments in the department, including collective catering establishments, from 6am to 8pm;
- in the vicinity, within a radius of 100 metres, of all the department's collective childcare establishments without accommodation from 6am to 8pm;
- in the vicinity, within a radius of 100 metres, of bus, train and sea stations, and any place where people wait for public transport from 6am to 8pm.
The obligation to wear a mask provided for in this decree does not apply to people with disabilities who are in possession of a medical certificate justifying this exemption and who implement sanitary measures to prevent the spread of the virus.
Subject to compliance with existing health protocols, this obligation does not apply to persons practising a sporting activity. Drivers of two-wheeled vehicles are also exempted when travelling.
