Long Covid, poor blood count , flu ...
Corona has become a sensitive issue in our society. Never before have opinions been so divided and rifts between people been so great. I myself fell ill with Corona about half a year ago and during the infection with the virus, had hardly any symptoms. Since then, however, my blood count has become very poor and still is. So Long Covid is actually measurable.
In my work as a warehouse worker, I am surrounded by numerous colleagues who think that the Corona virus is a kind of flu and that Long Covid is just an invention. The fact is that since they have known about my illness, they have sidelined and ridiculed me. I have even wanted to show them my lab results, but they think I am a lunatic and the results would be faked anyway. It is also an unfortunate fact that since my Corona infection, I suffer from shortness of breath. My colleagues think that I am just trying to avoid it when I have to do heavy physical work. Yesterday, one of my colleagues asked me in front of all my coworkers if sex with my wife had now become too strenuous for me, too. He would sacrifice himself and practice coitus with her to take the pressure off me.
I love my job very much, but I don't know how much longer I can psychologically stand doing my job under these circumstances. Have any of you had similar experiences? How did you guys deal with it?
