I belong to two risk groups with Covid. 1. the group of over 70 years and to the group with pre-existing conditions, with diabetes, anemia and asthma.
A problem with asthma is the passage of the virus from the throat to the lungs. Especially in the lower part of the lung, it can lead to prolonged infections. I have to watch out for that. I will probably be sick longer too - 3 to 4 weeks is normal for asthmatics on Covid. I am under medical supervision and getting good medication. There is not much danger at the moment. But I have to be careful.
I only have the regular Omicron variant. With the other variants, I probably would have ended up in the hospital by now. Killer variant, especially for those in poor health I think is quite possible. For me, the statement of Lauterbach is serious and to be taken seriously !
