Now Ms. Baerbock doesn't get it, although as a member of the (former) Peace Party she should know where such conflicts lead. You would think that we Germans would have learned from two world wars. But, nothing there! We continue to cheerfully supply weapons to Ukraine. And there are already Nato soldiers around the corner. But they are not involved in fighting. Of course not, they are there on vacation. So we are sliding deeper and deeper into a war for which there are only two alternatives as an end: negotiations or the use of nuclear weapons. The Pope wants to negotiate. But he's an old man and the prophecies of Fatima have been consigned to the corner of fairy tales....
