I know from acquaintances that a lack of concentration at work is a sign of burn-out. A friend of mine literally collapsed mentally and physically and just wanted to escape from his life, but has since returned to life. Now I also notice - because the home office just won't end, even if there is no obligation on the part of the legislator that companies offer home office (but my employer wants to continue to do so) - that I suffer from increasing concentration problems. The reason for this is that every now and then the children come into my office, even though they are no longer at home all day, as was the case a few months ago, but are able to attend daycare or school again after the Corona lockdowns. I have therefore resolved to go to bed a little earlier in the evening, even if it is still light outside. For me, a sufficiently long sleep duration is important. I notice this when I and my partner have been out in the evening and then come home late and go to bed after midnight. I'm not rested the next morning and would prefer to sleep until noon. What I have also noticed: Since I've been doing home office work, I don't move around as much. No wonder, since I used to ride my bike to the office. This movement is simply missing. To compensate, I've now signed up at the gym.
