My neighbor's mental illness has now been confirmed to me by his acquaintance. Already earlier I had noticed that he did strange things and expressed strange thoughts. But only through a conversation with an acquaintance of his, I realized how bad it really is.
We live in such a way that again and again, due to an error in the navigation equipment, people arrive at our house in the yard, although they actually wanted to go to the neighbor's house. Every now and then we get into a conversation with these people. Some time ago, a middle-aged woman came into the courtyard, who actually wanted to go to our neighbor. It turned out that she told us that she has problems with him. We also have problems with him, so we shared our experiences on this common ground.
She shared with us that he has extreme mental health issues. Obviously, he suffers from great anxiety and then makes connections that are completely absurd. For example, he fears that there are any beings around him. He has a terrible fear and therefore wants to close the path behind his house.
I know the path and the corner at his house, which is probably scary at night, because there is also a small brook running by, which makes corresponding noises. However, I don't see any threatening figures, burglars or the like there.
The lady, who made a very intelligent impression and was multilingual, also told us that he has other massive psychological problems. However, she did not go into detail for reasons of discretion.
For me, however, it was important to have found someone who confirmed my neighbor's psychological problems.
Outsiders usually do not understand the problems one can have with mentally ill people. My neighbor projects his problems onto me. So he set up lots of cameras, but had me write a letter through his lawyer threatening me with 2 years in prison if I filmed him. He also assaulted my wife and then accused me of assaulting her. An impertinence that can hardly be surpassed!
Also purely externally he is conspicuous, although I do not want to go into too much detail here. But, I would like to say only so much, I have in my whole life never seen a person who looks as strange as he does.
Now my question, what should I do ? Should I tell the Politzei that he is mentally ill, or is that defamation ?
