Hello, I am not sure if my case is actually bullying, so I hope that as many as possible answer me,
who have had the same or similar experience as me. Even as a child I was always a bit fatter than the other girls and you can imagine that I was always teased at school because of that. Actually, I thought that this would stop in the "adult world", when I start working. But according to my feeling, I am now also bullied at work. I am in the first year of my apprenticeship and I work in a butcher's shop and there is a colleague who constantly makes disparaging remarks about my figure, often in the presence of other colleagues and sometimes even customers. I find these remarks very insulting and I have already spoken to her about it, but she only said that this was just a joke and that I should not make such a fuss. After all, apprenticeships are not men's years and every apprentice eventually gets taken for a ride by his colleagues. I don't know what to make of this. Is this really bullying or do I have to put up with these "jokes"? What would you do in my situation?
