"Conspiracy theory": Can Covid-19 Superspreaders restore the economic balance?
At the moment, the second strongest industrial nation is losing a lot of economic power. People are sick and production is at a standstill in many factories.
Nobody knows how long this will last and how strong the impact will be.
Secretly the Americans are rubbing their hands, because now they will probably remain the undisputed number one for a long time to come.
But, the corona virus has an insidious characteristic: there are people in whom the symptoms of the disease do not appear, or appear very late. But they are infectious all the time. Such superspreaders then infect 20, 30 or more people without being detected. Just like the Englishman who hasn't even been to China and who infected several people in France.
If several superspreaders have now reached, or are still reaching, Africa, Latin America, the USA or Europe, the virus becomes a problem everywhere. This would then offset the temporary economic advantage.
So why should the Chinese seriously try to stop superspreaders? At the moment, they are hiding the group of infected people in which the superspreaders are hiding and no longer show them in the statistics.
The so called easy cases are rather the hard cases, because they spread the virus undetected.
If this "conspiracy theory" is true, then the virus can no longer be stopped.
We will see if the Corona Virus ( Covid-19 ) will appear in Africa, India or South America in the next weeks. If so, it is probably not a conspiracy theory, but bitter reality.
