Covid-19, now the coronavirus epidemic is turning into a pandemic, coronavirus pandemic can no longer be stopped
First of all, 760 million are quarantined in China ! The number of victims already higher than SARS and MERS combined.
Approximately 2.7% of those infected die. Not only old and sick people ! There are also an alarming number of doctors.
But, supposedly it is "only" an epidemic.
But there are, even officially infected people outside of China. And there are deaths outside of China too.
So the coronavirus epidemic became a coronavirus pandemic !
There are still about 1000 infected people outside of China. But the number of virus infected is increasing daily.
How contagious the virus is was shown by the debacle on the Diamond Princess. Why the people there, crammed together on a ship, were not evacuated in time and distributed to hospitals and corresponding facilities is still a mystery.
Fear of infection ? Fear of the economic consequences ?
It is a fact that Russia has closed the border with China and no longer allows Chinese tourists into the country. Three infected people in Russia ? Hardly!
Vietnam has quarantined 10 000 people. But, how many infected are there? Not so many people are quarantined because there are 2 or 3 infected.
India, one infected. So they say.
Africa, another infected in Egypt !
