Billions are spent to keep the bad Russians in check and then a stupid virus comes along and the German army stands helpless with its tanks and airplanes. Instead of the whole military aircraft they would have bought some protection masks !
Now you have to lie to the population because the masks are missing. From completely ineffective to antisocial is the wearing of a protective mask.
Fact is, the government has, despite clear warnings with SARS, MERS etc. not sufficiently protective masks in stock. There are not even enough masks for the medical staff. This is a first order scandal !
Now one tries to get masks from all possible sources. They are overpriced, some are faulty and some are not delivered at all or bought from other countries.
One more question: If the masks are ineffective, why do you need them so urgently ?
I think those responsible should show their colours and not make such tortuous and false statements.
It was neglected to provide sufficiently high-quality protective masks (FFP3) for the medical staff. For this reason alone it should be checked who is responsible.
There are neither high-quality masks for the population nor simple masks. Instead we are advised to cut into the crook of our arm !
