  • Covidiot, why this name causes problems

At first I was surprised that there was a relatively quick reaction to the name Covidiot from the users of the bullying forum. Mostly positive or an implied criticism.
Covid polarises society. Some even speak of a split.
Different positions are taken in the parliament and in discussions on television. But that is nothing new.

But the population in general is worried. How long is the pandemic supposed to last ? So far, the virus has surprised everyone and most of the forecasts were wrong.
I personally know vaccinated and unvaccinated people and there is occasionally friction. But I wouldn't call it a split yet. More worrying is the deep concern of all those who have lost money because of the pandemic and the quarantine. It really gets on your nerves!
When I told an acquaintance (restaurant owner) that I write under the name Covidiot, he laughed out loud, but with an underlying expression of insecurity. He has already used up his savings for old age and will probably not survive the 5th wave from a purely business point of view.

Vaccines are designed to make your immune system work harder on a mild form of the virus or bacteria. This is to train your immune system. When you encounter the real disease, your immune system reacts much faster and in a more effective way, killing the disease before it has a chance to infect you. This gives you the power to fight off the disease. Vaccines are one of the greatest gifts of modern science. It's the best way to prevent diseases that can be fatal. So, do your research before believing in fake news articles.
