  • Why do migrants and refugees have children?

    Since many migrants or even refugees have moved into the neighbourhood, they are having children. Somehow one also has the impression that these children never grow or get older.

    A general question on the subject: Why have the so-called refugees or migrants (as well as guest worker families) been having children for years, and many do not work (o.k. in the case of children, it falls away for the woman, although it is supposedly urgently needed everywhere)? What is the purpose of massive immigration if they don't work anyway? Just to have children?

    I also have a question about refugees: If you come from hardship and don't know how things are supposed to go, do you think about having children, who then bring additional costs and problems with them?

    Do people really have no other worries? Or is the attitude: others will do it?

    Or is it because they don't know any other way?

    I once asked some Germans whether they would have children if they took in someone in need. For example, if their house burned down and someone took them in. The answers were all: No!

    "Greesleeves" :

    One can also look at the problem in a more differentiated way. First, the number of children increases when the parents' education is low. Then there are cultural differences. Last but not least, a large number of children also implies a large potency of the producer. However, with the already existing problem of overpopulation, I wonder if the "rulers" are actually more intelligent than the people with numerous children and educationally distant backgrounds.
