A family say they felt like prisoners after a 'neighbour from hell' filmed them every time they left the house - before uploading the footage to Youtube.
W., 43, has been given a suspended jail sentence for breaching an injunction that banned him from filming and shining security lights into neighbours' homes.
He installed cameras several years ago after claiming his family had been abused, attacked and burgled and suspected someone living in the street may have been responsible.
But neighbours in x, say he then made their lives a misery by recording them all the time and putting footage online.
But one victim xx, 44, took him to court and in September successfully secured an injunction which prevented y from directing any cameras or lights into his home and filming them or using abusive or sexual language.
And at a hearing in x, Judge yy found xx guilty of breaching the order by shining a spotlight into his house and being abusive on three dates in September and October.
He was given a 28 day jail term that was suspended for two years.
Following the verdict, Mr z expressed his relief and claimed neighbours had suffered years of misery due to xx actions.
He said: "This has been going on for years. You can't go out of your home without being filmed and put on You Tube.
"xx Council has tried its best to resolve it with mediation. I am trying to put an end to this misery.
"Mr xx has been causing a nuisance in this neighbourhood for years. This bullying can't be tolerated. He was a neighbour from hell and had been making lives a misery.
"I praise the judge for seeing right through him. He had rows of cameras outside his home filming other people's houses.
"Other residents have been harassed and abused. We were just fed up. We've put up with this bullying for 14 years and hopefully now it will come to an end."
Mr y says a number of residents in the small cul-de-sac of bungalows were so fed up with the problems that they had put their home in the market in a bid to move out.
A council spokesman said:" We've visited the parties involved and advised of legislation with regard to acceptable noise and light parameters.
"We've also assisted in organising mediation between the parties concerned to help bring this matter to a resolution."
xx claimed that he and his Filipino wife had been subjected to racist attacks on the street, she had been assaulted, their car had been damaged and his home burgled.
He denied the breach and said he plans to appeal.
He said: "We are honest people. This is massive corruption.
"The police had advised us to set up the security lights. Now I can't turn them on without being sent to prison."
