migardo hat ein mobiles Notfallsystem für das Smart-Phone (IOS & Android) entwickelt, welches allen Menschen die nötige Sicherheit gibt, die eigene Lebensqualität vor allem dann wieder deutlich zu verbessern, wenn diese Qualität durch körperliche Handicaps, Krankheiten oder Ängste gemindert ist und so die geliebte Freizeitaktivität und/oder die Teilnahme an der Gesellschaft aus Unsicherheit nicht mehr möglich ist.

migardo will keine Angst, sondern Mut machen, sich gemeinsam für zeitgemäße und geeignete Möglichkeiten eines besseren und sicheren Lebensgefühls einzusetzen und entsprechende Lösungen anzubieten.

Die migardo Notfall-Applikation ermöglicht in alltäglichen - und in Ausnahmesituationen einen Basisschutz und macht Mut, das Leben mit mehr Sicherheit zu erleben.

Einige Beispiele, in denen sich die Notfall App anbietet:

- Sicheres Gefühl bei Freizeitaktivitäten (vor allem wenn diese alleine und draußen ausgeübt werden)
- Steigerung des allgemeinen persönlichen Sicherheitsempfinden
- Steigerung der Sicherheit für Familie und Angehörige
- Bewältigung des Alltags mit Handicaps und Erkrankungen
- Mut, Hilfe für Dritte anzufordern: "Zivilcourage"

Durch das hinterlegte Notfallprofil mit allen medizinischen Daten wie z. B. Medikamenteneinnahme, Erkrankungen, Blutgruppe, Hausarzt uvm. werden den Rettungskräften bei einem Notfall bereits alle erforderlich Details zur Erstbehandlung mitgeteilt. Desweiteren wird parallel eine Person des Vertrauens (Notfallkontakt) über den Vorfall informiert. Ein großer Gewinn des mobilen Notfallsystems ist die Eingabe des Nutzer von sogenannten „Unwohlorten“, also Örtlichkeiten, die vom Nutzer persönlich als risikobehaftet angesehen werden.

Desweiteren wird eine lange Suche der Notfallperson überflüssig, da eine genaue Ortung mittels GPS dafür sorgt, dass der Aufenthaltsort schnell ermittelt und ebenfalls an die Rettungskräfte weitergegeben wird. Die Ortung wird ständig neu abgesetzt, bis Rettungskräfte bei der Notfallperson eingetroffen sind.
