The members of the senior citizens‘ club are old. Hence the name. Most members also have health problems. Consideration and compassion are therefore prerequisites for a good atmosphere in a senior citizens’ club.
I have been a member of such a club for more than three years. We play games, paint and also do sports together. The atmosphere is relaxed. Everyone knows each other's health problems and takes them into consideration.
Now a younger man comes along, complains about his illnesses and starts to play the boss. He couldn't care less about other people's health problems.

Dans une association de personnes âgées, les membres sont vieux. D'où le nom. La plupart des membres ont en outre des problèmes de santé. La considération et la compassion sont donc des conditions préalables à une bonne ambiance dans un club des retraités.
Je suis membre d'un tel club depuis plus de trois ans. Nous faisons des jeux, de la peinture et du sport ensemble. L'atmosphère est détendue. Chacun connaît les problèmes de santé de l'autre et en tient compte.
Maintenant, un "jeune homme" arrive, se plaint de ses maladies et commence à jouer au chef. Il se moque éperdument des problèmes de santé des autres.

Im Altenverein sind die Mitglieder alt. Daher der Name. Die meisten Mitglieder haben ausserdem gesundheitliche Probleme. Rücksicht und Mitgefühl sind also Voraussetzung für eine gute Atmosphäre in einem Altenclub.
Ich bin schon seit mehr als drei Jahren Mitglied in einem solchen Club. Wir machen Spiele, malen und treiben auch Sport miteinander. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt. Jeder kennt die gesundheitlichen Probleme des Anderen und nimmt darauf Rücksicht.
Nun kommt eine jünger Mann daher, jammert über seine Krankheiten und fängt an den Chef zu spielen. Ob andere gesundheitliche Probleme haben interessiert ihn einen feuchten Kehricht.
