Hello, this is my first post in this forum.
I was just reading along here at first and then realized that many people feel the same way I do. When groups of people turn on another person and do organized malicious things to hurt, upset or drive that person to emotional outbursts, that is bullying. There's little an individual can do about it other than stand apart. Here's an experience of mine:
After my divorce, I moved into a new neighborhood where the neighbors had known each other for a long time. Since I needed a safe area for the young or disabled children to play in for my daycare and foster care job, I had a fence built. With that, the fun started. I had chanting on my property, the boundary stone was hidden and I first had to use lawyer letters to demand location information of the stone from the neighbor. Of course, the corresponding tenants in the neighboring house had overbuilt several meters without permission.
In addition, the other neighbor, referring to my handicapped foster kids, said: "Hitler was right with his euthanasia!" I then never greeted these people again. Such attitudes are simply repugnant to me.
My family then became the target of telephone terror, destruction of property, poisoning and disappearance of pets, and character assassination. I was no longer able to provide day care because people were sent to me who cheated me out of the food allowance and the care allowance. Other interested parties were intercepted on the street and told lies. We were a cult, etc.
I chose bullying as the topic for my bachelor's thesis in my distance learning program because I had experience. Otherwise, you can only withdraw from such people. Not even the police take these things seriously. Even the priest I asked for help treated me like a leper. He was also already brainwashed. How the children suffered from this, I probably don't have to explain.
